There’s been plenty happening across the LCCA community recently, with students and alumni landing new roles, getting their work published and earning recognition for what they do.
Here are five recent self-made successes from our community we want to share…
- Patrick De Campos featured by GQ Netherlands

Fashion Management and Marketing alumnus Patrick has been featured by GQ Netherlands in a piece looking at successful entrepreneurs and the books that have inspired them.
Patrick was included among a group of entrepreneurs sharing the books that have influenced the way they think about business and success.
It’s great to see an LCCA alumnus and his work recognised by an international publication.
2. Benjamin Green joins PURPLE

Recent LCCA graduate Benjamin Green has joined PURPLE as a Showroom & Logistics Coordinator, following his studies and internships in fashion PR.
The role will see Benjamin working within the fashion communications agency’s showroom and logistics team and building on the industry experience he gained while studying.
A big congratulations to Benjamin on landing his new role.
3. LCCA student styling featured in Selin Magazine

LCCA alumna Elizabeth Uche has had SELIN Magazine (Issue 64, Vol. 33)SELIN Magazine (Issue 64, Vol. 33).
Since completing her BA in Fashion Management and Marketing, Elizabeth has continued to develop her own approach to styling, working with bold colour, layered silhouettes and rich textures.
Reflecting on the achievement, Elizabeth said:
“My experience at LCCA gave me the confidence, knowledge and foundation to pursue fashion styling more seriously. What started as a passion gradually opened doors to collaborations and opportunities with people who recognised my creative vision.”
4. Emanuela Graziano’s zine is now stocked at Freedom Bookshop

LCCA alumna Emanuela has seen a project she first created during her Foundation course make its way onto the shelves of Freedom Bookshop near Whitechapel Gallery.
This Is My Land , explores land ownership and unity and was originally made during a workshop at LCCA led by Cara Sohnen and Hanya Elghamry more than two years ago.
Ema individually finished each copy with a red pastel outline and folder before bringing the project to the independent bookshop. It’s a lovely outcome for a piece of work that started life as a student project.
5. Mary Martin named Creative Fashion Icon of the Year

LCCA Fashion and Textiles alumna Mary Martin has been named Creative Fashion Icon of the Year at the 16th African Achievers Awards.
Mary was recognised for her contribution to fashion and her work celebrating culture, identity and African heritage through her creative practice and fashion brand, Mary Martin London.
The award is the latest achievement in a career that has taken Mary and her work around the world since studying at LCCA.
You can read Mary’s full story to find out more about the award and her journey with LCCA.
More from the LCCA community…
These are just a few of the things LCCA students and alumni have been up to recently, and we’ll be sharing more throughout the year.
