LCCA is launching Accelerate Your Career, a new micro-credential programme designed to help you build confidence, develop practical career skills and prepare for the realities of the working world alongside your studies.

Through a series of short, flexible online modules, you’ll focus on the skills employers actively look for when hiring and progressing talent, including communication, networking and leadership. Each module takes approximately 1-2 hours to complete, making it easy to fit around your schedule.

As you progress through the programme, you’ll build a collection of recognised digital credentials that demonstrate your professional development. Each module ends with a short assessment, after which you’ll earn a digital badge. These badges can be added to your CV, LinkedIn profile and portfolio, giving you clear, verifiable evidence of your skills.

The Accelerate Your Career programme will launch with eight short modules, alongside an extended Work Integrated Learning credential.

The short modules include:

  • Digital Literacy
  • Intercultural Fluency
  • Career Management
  • Communication Skills
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Leadership and Teamwork
  • Networking
  • Growth Mindset

The Work Integrated Learning credential is an extended module that gives you the opportunity to apply your skills in real-world contexts through structured challenges and extracurricular activities, including live briefs, work experience and employer-led projects.

Accelerate Your Career is part of LCCA’s wider commitment to a careers and industry-first approach to learning, giving you access to opportunities that support your development at every stage of your journey. You can learn more about LCCA’s career support provisions via our Careers & Employability Service Hub.

LCCA: Accelerate Your Career will be available to current LCCA students and alumni via Canvas in LCCA’s Student Hub.
