London College of Contemporary Arts’ website has been awarded Silver in the General Websites: Schools & Universities category at the 21st Annual W3 Awards.
The recognition celebrates the quality of LCCA’s digital presence and the role the website plays in helping prospective students explore their options, understand the College’s creative courses and make informed decisions about their future.
A well-designed college website should do more than look engaging. For prospective students, it is often one of the first places to discover what studying at LCCA could be like. Clear, accessible and easy-to-navigate information helps visitors find the details that matter most to them—from courses, entry requirements and application guidance to student life, career opportunities and the wider creative community.
The LCCA Marketing team in collaboration with other teams such as website design and development, continues to improve the College’s communication and information channels so that students, applicants, parents, partners and other audiences can access timely, relevant and useful information. By making the website easier to use and ensuring that content answers the questions prospective students may have at every stage of their journey, the team supports applicants to feel confident in choosing the right next step for their education and creative future.
The W3 Awards recognise outstanding digital content, experiences and creativity across websites, video, online marketing, podcasts, social media, creator content, AI, immersive experiences, software and mobile apps. They celebrate brands, agencies, institutions and independent creators that are helping to shape the digital landscape.
This year’s competition received thousands of entries from around the world, including submissions from advertising and digital agencies, in-house creative and marketing teams, web designers and graphic designers. Entries are evaluated by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), an organisation comprising industry leaders from internationally recognised brands, agencies and institutions including Google, Netflix, Microsoft, The Walt Disney Company, Monks, McCann, Dentsu, GLAAD, the Smithsonian and Stanford University.
This Silver award is a welcome acknowledgement of LCCA’s commitment to creating a high-quality digital experience—one that reflects the energy and ambition of the College, while giving future students the practical information and inspiration they need to take the next step.
