LCCA Games students unlock industry access at BAFTA Games Awards 2026

Our Games students recently unlocked a new level of industry access as they stepped onto the red carpet at the 22nd BAFTA Games Awards 2026 – one of the biggest nights in the gaming calendar.

Held at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, the awards brought together leading studios, developers and creatives to celebrate the year’s most outstanding games and the people behind them.

For students, the event offered a rare opportunity to experience the industry up close, gaining first-hand insight into the standards, creativity and innovation shaping the sector today. Surrounded by creative professionals across all areas of game development, it was a valuable chance to see how different roles, from technical design to storytelling, come together at the highest level.

Experiences like this are all part of LCCA’s approach to industry-connected learning, ensuring students don’t just study the sector, but engage with it directly – building a clearer picture of where their skills can take them.
