The highlight was an insightful talk from LCCA’s counselling partner, Uwill, featuring its Managing Director, Asini Wijewardane, who spoke about the importance of accessible mental health support and how LCCA’s partnership with Uwill offers flexible, confidential counselling – providing 24/7 access to accredited therapists via video, chat, or message, along with crisis response and wellness resources.
A live Q&A with Erin Andrews, Uwill’s Director of Clinical Affairs, offered practical advice on managing stress and seeking help, encouraging everyone to prioritise their wellbeing.
Faye Mitcham, Head of Student Accessibility Services at LCCA, said: “A big thank you to Asini, Erin and the Uwill team for leading such a meaningful discussion as we continue to build a caring, supportive college community where wellbeing comes first.”
