LCCA’s Careers Development Week will bring together students, employers and creatives for a week of talks, workshops and networking opportunities designed to support career development across a range of industries.
Open to students from disciplines across fashion, graphic design, gaming, business and hospitality, the programme will offer practical careers advice, industry insight and opportunities to build professional confidence and connections.
Throughout the week, students will hear directly from entrepreneurs, recruiters and industry professionals while exploring different career pathways within today’s evolving creative landscape.

Meet the speakers
Throughout the week we’ve got a jam-packed schedule filled with industry talks covering a wide variety of creative careers and sectors. Here’s a quick rundown of just some of the incredible speakers attending.
Carmen Roberts
BBC presenter and travel journalist Carmen Roberts has filmed in more than 70 countries for The Travel Show. From reporting aboard the world’s longest flights to exploring high-speed rail in Japan, her career has taken her behind the scenes of stories around the world. Students will gain insight into global media careers, storytelling and working in international broadcasting.
Haz Dulull
Haz Dulull is the founder of indie game studio Beyond The Pixels and an award-winning creative working across film, TV and games. Inspired by classic gaming culture, Haz creates original interactive worlds and modern retro experiences for today’s audiences. His session will give students insight into creative entrepreneurship, worldbuilding and building a career across multiple creative industries.
Áine McCourt
As CEO of jewellery brand Otiumberg, Áine McCourt leads a business known for sustainable design, ethical practices and modern luxury. With experience spanning branding, business growth and creative leadership, Áine will share insight into building a fashion brand with purpose in today’s industry. Áine has previously appeared in LCCA’s original series MAKING IT: Creative Careers Unlocked, in which she discussed more about her personal and professional creative journey. Daniel Peters
Daniel Peters is the founder of Minority Report Group, supporting organisations across fashion and media to build more inclusive workplace cultures. Alongside his consultancy work, he champions underrepresented talent through research, mentoring and industry initiatives. Students will hear valuable perspectives on representation, leadership and creating change within the creative industries.
Nadu Placca Rodriguez
International event architect Nadu Placca Rodriguez has worked with major names including Spotify, Stormzy and Afro Nation, creating events rooted in culture, creativity and community impact. As founder of creative agency The Zoo XYZ, she brings students insight into entrepreneurship, global events and building a career in fast-moving creative industries.
Alongside featured talks and panels, students will also hear from recruiters, leadership coaches and communications specialists working across a wide range of industries.
Grant Springford: Award-winning communications professional and illustrator Grant Springford will share insight into storytelling, creative communication and building audience engagement across different industries.
Ketan Dettani: Sustainability and recruitment specialist Ketan Dettani works with organisations across ESG, environmental health and real estate, helping connect talent with purpose-driven careers.
Coleen Cloherty: With more than 25 years of recruitment experience, Coleen Cloherty supports professionals and organisations across operations, facilities management and business services.
Natalia Cerezo Martin: Executive coach Natalia Cerezo Martin works with women across tech and customer experience sectors, helping professionals develop confidence, leadership skills and career direction.
Events like Careers Development Week are part of LCCA’s continued commitment to creating industry-focused opportunities that help students build connections, explore future career pathways and gain insight into the realities of working within today’s creative industries.
Careers Development Week will run from 1-7 June across both of LCCA’s London campuses, The AMP in Aldgate East and Sceptre Court in Tower Hill.
