Studying at LCCA gave me the confidence to start my own brand

Studying Fashion Management and Marketing at LCCA gave me the tools, confidence and direction to turn creative ideas into real opportunities.

During my degree, I developed my own luxury capsule brand, IAMPATRICK, a genderless 19-piece collection inspired by my grandfather who was a tailor. The brand focuses on minimalist luxury, sustainability and European craftsmanship. It was through my studies that I learned how to build every part of the business, including pricing, sourcing and manufacturing, branding and marketing strategy. Being able to present the full business plan to industry as part of My Final Major Project was one of the proudest moments of my degree.

Modules like Brand Management, Marketing Strategy and Trend Forecasting played a huge part in shaping how I think as both a creative and a strategist. My lecturers always encouraged me to merge creativity, research and business thinking, and that mindset now drives everything I do.

Alongside my studies, I gained hands-on experience working in luxury retail, including with the Chanel group, where I learned the importance of client experience, visual merchandising and product storytelling within a heritage Parisian accessories house. This professional exposure helped me connect everything I was learning in class to the real world of fashion.

I was able to leave LCCA with a brand and industry experience that led me to step into a professional marketing role as a Marketing Executive, where I’m responsible for creating social content. I’m also planning to continue into postgraduate study in Strategic Fashion Marketing to take my brand and career to the next level.

Looking back, my experience at LCCA gave me the confidence, knowledge, and direction I needed to build a career that connects creativity with purpose.
