London College of Contemporary Arts students explore the future of gaming at EGX London 2025

Students from the London College of Contemporary Arts’ Games programmes recently attended EGX London 2025, one of the UK’s biggest gaming events, at the ExCeL Centre as part of MCM Comic Con London.

The day was packed with demos, workshops, panel talks, and career showcases, all capturing the excitement and creativity of today’s fast-evolving games industry. Students explored the latest releases, tested indie titles, and gained valuable insight into what it takes to bring games from concept to completion.

Associate Dean of Games at LCCA, David McGreene, commented: “Experiences like these give students a real opportunity to connect with developers, discover new technologies, and explore the many directions a career in gaming can take. Everyone came away energised and inspired, and we can’t wait to see how these experiences influence their future work.”
