Fashion Innovation Week

Last week, the London College of Contemporary Arts attended Fashion Innovation Week, bringing together over 100 students across five days of activities.

The event offered exciting opportunities for students to explore new tools and creative technologies, from 3D printing and VR design, to Zero Waste sculpturing and Natural Dyeing. The sessions encouraged curiosity, experimentation and collaboration, allowing students to step outside their usual disciplines and try something new.

Beyond the technical skills, Fashion Innovation Week created a vibrant space for conversation and exchange as students met peers from different cohorts and courses, shared ideas, and discovered new ways of thinking about sustainability, design and innovation.

The week highlighted the power of cross-disciplinary learning, sustainability-focused thinking, and the creativity that emerges when diverse perspectives come together. It was an inspiring reminder of how innovation continues to drive creative education and shape future practice.
